There not expensive,
the mondey ones where only £21 last time ibought one some places wanted £40
carnt seeing the Focus ones being much expensive as theres not much differnce,

Ebay might be your best bet for parts, dont let the car shops rob you :roll:

£56 for Delphi ones, didnt want to cheap out on them really. They had unbranded ones for £30odd but thought I'd get the branded ones.

iwouid of gone straight into fords before paying that,
Focus carnt be that expensive for parts surely,?

The parts shops are a bit of a con imho, unless you know someone that works in one,
iget all my parts at Trade price and they bring them to me as ive been using same shop for 10 years

the 406 is definatley a great car for buying parts, i know the dealers can be a bit expensive, and the com2000 is annoying but other stuff parts are easy to get, and xud or hdi engines are fairly easy to get hold of.

I think it has to do with the climate, more so than the car.

Cars in Australia, do not suffer from wear like that, or failing wheel bearings at such low mileages. I'm assuming this is based on the salting of the roads over there, which plays havoc on many of the suspension components and the like!
