Did you go look at that one Stu?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Didn't go in the end. Was going to be a day to go have a look, another day to go get it, another day swapping the rear seats from mine into it, another day to deFAP so it was starting to look expensive in terms of time aswell as money.

Had the dent man round to look at mine Monday & he managed to get rid of nearly all of them. Plus the ABS fault came up again & this time I reckon the reluctor rings are well shot. If I've got to spend out more money fixing mine, I'm just going to lose more if I sell it.

Reckon on sticking with what I've got for a while & if I get to a point where I'm a dead cert not to need the 7 seats, I may yet go back to the C5 idea, but by then I'll probably be looking at a 2.0 136 or 2.2 170 model instead.

I concur, and glad to see you keep the chariot for a bit longer

You got to be careful with these 406's, hell, the only time mine broke down was when we was coming back from a day out, and we was looking at other cars as we drove along saying which we'd have
Think I hurt the cars feelings
1999 D8.5 HDi GLX - Sold :(

2007 Mondingo Zetec - I seek forgiveness :( Bring back my 406

Came across an eye opener concerning the VW Golfs today....

A regular customer had his ESP warning light on, took it to my mate for diagnostics and found this......
