I think it's (series or season depends how you say it) 6 episode 19.
Dai said it was a blue M3 i think it might be this one but only half the show is viewable in the link.

Sounds like a bodge to me if your mate even said it's not what the car really needed

I can't remember the episode tho, so if Ed made comments about shoddy welding or whatever then there's be a reasonable cause for being pissed off
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

hahaha i had a good laugh when Mike ask Edd did he ever let him down before and Edd looks right into the camera hahah.

Did look at that link to forum about Dealers Wheelers,Scotty, there are some funny comments really :D
Most of people dont like Mike but i find him good, maybe sometimes do something odd but we all have our odd days.
They say that its impossible to earn moeny on cars like they do,but i think that the goal of this show isnt some accurate information about how to sell car,its simply a show.
I must say i have learned a few things from Edds advices about painting, some mechanical how-to and few Mike tips on what to look when buying a car.

Sort of like WD and sort of don't. Sometimes I get a little annoyed at the show!

The time they changed the 205's gear linkages to fix a smoky engine? :frown:

I watched some of the first series of wd and I found it quite annoying. The first one, the porch, where the mechanic sprayed an entire panel with a tin, well, I've never seen anyone paint an entire panel convincingly with rattle cans, so either it looked horrible close up, he used about 20 tins flatting between each layer, or he reached for his compressor once the filming stopped, which seems the most likely considering he's in what looks like a fairly well equipped garage. The worst one was the Mini, which was a shed. It looked like quite an effective repair on the apex but the entire car was covered with rust holes, so either the guy spent many, many hours welding or most of it just got some lob in it before the paint job. And they made what, 100 quid on it? It must have taken a couple of weeks to do even what they showed on the film. Are they stupid?

These days I'm mostly watching stuff like this http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xr7vmq ... OAEbKz4QQQ (which is where the current avatar came from)

The original series had a hellishly small budget - they had to buy a classic car and repair it for under £1,000.

During the more recent series, they're spending upwards of £10k buying the car, plus parts etc.

My favourite episodes:

Jensen Interceptor Mk. III
Fiat Dino Coupe
Chevrolet Bel Air
Lotus Elan S3

Complete list of episodes here, including a run-down of budgets and profit/loss per car
