There was a MK2 Mondeo 1.8TD in the news a few weeks ago. It was the basic model with windy windows! Done 1 million miles! 8)

Weird thing is, thats the same engine I have in mine, just with commonrail injection.

I think an ST200 will be my next purchase.
Hopefully get my hands on a limited edition one. I think in a few years they will start going up in value!

It will be sat in a garage for a few years I think, I just think it's one car that will shoot up in value for the next few years. Look at the prices now and they have been sat at the £1,500 to £2,000 mark for quite a while!

had court today - they dropped the claim.

Whole host of reasons why, and now it seems you are able to sell clocked cars and get away with it.

the guy admitted that he didnt check the MOT history

i cant hear the fat lady singing yet so am interested to see what trading standards/office of fair trading/ vosa/dvla etc think.....

I wonder if they used the fact that the car's price had been reduced so it wasn't seen that the dealer was trying to profit fraudulently from the sale (I think the dealer's letters kept going on about how cheap the car was?).

Crap outcome though, I think you've either got to keep it and use it as it is or try to offload it? then again you'd have to declare the mileage etc...........

What a load of crap and after all that stress worrying about it :frown:

I dunno, ive gotten over it now, gonna just get rid of the car - it will probably need a few quid spending on it to get it safely through an MOT.

If anyone wants anything off it let me know!

Ill leave it a few days then give a scrappy a call to come collect...
