Exactly the same, except no more FAP issues
Whats happens to the dpf fluid and electrics for the dpf, does all the dpf software need removing?
Once it's disabled in software, the car just behaves as if none of it ever existed
What map is yours running? Eco or performance? Really looking for a decent 2.2 hdi.
Economy's about the same, but it's much quicker.

I sometimes miss my Diesels but reading your comments about DPF's .. I am learning to think I am much better off without a diesel :)

Right guys, please read this and dont bid!!!!!

I have spoke a few times to the seller via e bay and placed a few bids. I have been out bid again by a dodgy e bay member.

1) Car is not registered at the owners address
2) Cambelt has not been changed
3) Original clutch, flywheel

Alll things he has forgot to mention in the ad  now dodgy bidding, feedback x 1.

Just goes to show LOOKS can be deceiving.

That being said, old bangers with cosmetic damage usually are the ones to just keep running time after time.............

Never judge a cover by it's book............ or as you lot would say, a book by it's cover

Seems to have had another bid retraction! If you look at the metal (stainless) boot trim there are holes drilled in it where something has been screwed to it,bit strange. :?

I can see the holes. They're definitely extra holes that have been drilled into the silver trim at the back end although I can't think of what would have been fitted. Original clutch needn't be a problem as Doggy's lasted well, but on a car with a towbar I'd say it could be close. Especially as the seller has hidden it in all the pics so that you don't see if it's a twin electric one that tows a house on wheels 6 times a year.

Cambelt is definitely due for a change though & I reckon he got the quote through & decided to get rid.

The second electrics only runs the fridge, even small caravans have those... And technically a caravan is a house on wheels.

Having just fitted a cam belt, twice, to a 2.2 its nothing to be frightened of, easily done in a couple of hours. most annoying bit is having to undo the right engine mount to get the plastic cowl off... great design that... apart from that access is nice and easy.. provided you have the lock out bars

holes are weird... thankfully i dont need to bid as i am back on the road! yay! how i missed my arm chair on wheels

So it made £2567 - anyone know of it's a genuine sale?

Will we be hearing from the new owner??

2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
