I have taken Averages over the last 31,000miles/18 months inputting data into a spreadsheet to give me my findings. I make note of the type of driving and the average temperature over thank tank full.

Currently BP Ultimate leads at 11.02p/m.
Shell V Power is second at 12.04p/m.
Tesco normal diesel is around 14p/m.
:arrowu: This is how to choose a fuel. p/mile. I had a very similar spreadsheet with similar findings except without any variation of driving style. I did find wet weather to cause increased consumption.

How do you do the pence/mile thing when the price of fuel goes up and down like a yoyo? (Not that yoyo...)
