What's annoyed me is the fact diesel has come down in price but the premium stuff is still over 120p/l.
I've had to stop using it. When there was only 2 or 3 pence between standard diesel and premium stuff it was worth paying the bit extra. I got better throttle response and a quieter engine but now the difference means it's an extra £7 to £10 per tank.
I'm now taking advantage of the price of Tesco diesel at 108.9p/l around here and adding a shot of Millers Ecomax. Actually it does seem a little quieter.
I could save myself even more money and replace the Millers Ecomax with mineral two stroke oil but I'm not sure on two stroke oil and it's effects on the DPF. At the end of the day you can't burn off ash.
