Impressive, 'specially the 280SL. Didn't look too bad 'til you tried the closeups.
Seems they got a transporter load of 'em - going into production perhaps?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
They come and go, that repaš has been there for a while now but that's the first time I've seen the SL, looks seriously abused. Still, I think I'd go for that over the Karmann, for a start the jacking points are missing off the sills.

Worst car I ever drove was my ex-girlfriends 2002 Fiat Punto. Very plasticy inside, felt really unstable at 70+ and steering was sh*t. However city steering mode was interesting you could park using your little finger. Ace!
Never been in one but I've worked on one: It wouldn't idle, FIAT dealership's diagnosis - needs a new single-point injector unit (think electronic carburattor £££). My diagnisis - one broken wire, fixed in less than 5 minutes start to finish (ppp). It's not just Pug dealers...
I had a 98R Punto, i quite liked it. Ok the handling and grip was scary and mine was a 1.7 turbo diesel which was really slow compared to the Nova 1.5 TD i had before it. But it was really comfortable and there is loads of space in the cabin and footwell that i loved driving it
