Calling all cars, calling all cars...

OK, so so far I've only used SB for a bit of idle browsing and minor stat finding... now I actually need to use the bloody thing to identify a part number/price and it's frakked. Anyone able to help a drunken sailor out?

In particular I'm after a new fast idle controller - looks like this. Not 100% sure about this model of Pug but I suspect it to be a waxstat acting on the control cable which in turn actuates the fast idle lever. Mind you I've also heard a Citroen owner describe a electricy-vacuumy type setup on new motors. I've also heard they fail. A lot.

Ta

Tom

[EDIT] Scratch that, according to the HBOL it's a vacuum-operated diaphragm controlled by the pump ECU based on a temperature sensor. Had no idea it was that sophisticated.

There's something that goes on the cable called a "compensator" but it doesn't look like your pic and I've no idea what it compensates :(
