Holly sh*t Welly

Just like Tremmy ive just breezed in for the first time in ages and wasn't expecting to read something like this. Im sorry this has happened to you, i cant imagine what it could of been like and hopefully never will but the scary fact is that its getting to be the way of the world these days. Only a few months ago one of my mates was walking home from a night out when he got mugged, three blokes jumped out of an alley, punched him to the ground, kicked the sh*t of of him and ran off with his wallet and phone.
To me this just proves your just not safe anywhere these days, home, work, street, nowhere.

Hope you get back to your normal self soon mate.

About 5 years ago someone shot at me driving up the road in the job car. The round went in the rear door, trough the car about 6" behind the drivers seat and out the other side. I poo'd my pants and it's fair to say a Corsa diesel never moved so quick as that one suddenly did!

I don't think you guys are equiped enough these days? I don't think it's wrong for a Community beat officer to be wearing a stab vest and carrying an gun, tazer, etc. it'd make me feel better anyhoo.

WTF? Most of the "fully trained" coppers I've had the misfortune of dealing with in this country are nothing more than uniformed THUGS on a power trip who can't be trusted with a baton, let alone a tazer or gun

You wouldn't know how to even hold a baton corectly, much less make an informed judgement about the person risking their neck for shyt all money to carry it for a living.

I don't need to know how to hold a baton correctly. I'm not a thug. I don't smack kids in the face with a baton for standing in a pub which 3 seconds ago was quiet and unremarkable in any way. I don't smack people round the back of the head with a baton because they're holding their bloodied face after being hit in the face by a baton. I don't kick people when they're on the floor after they've been beaten to the floor with a baton.

No, I don't know how to use a baton like that.

I also don't know how to make CCTV footage of an assault disappear, or how to get away with lying to protect my friend such to get a the obvious victim charged with affray

I don't know how to charge an unarmed robbery victim with affray when the attacker has a knife and the victim's wallet. I don't know how to make the evidence disappear with such efficiency either.

I don't know how to punch someone in the face for simply trying to get a bus home after work, and get away with it

No, I don't know

West Midlands Police. Hopefully the most bent excuse for law enforcement in the country. Glad they're not as bad up here...

That was well funny! They were on their way up to Otterburn (just over the hill from here) and were training up at Kielder too so the paras involved probably went past my house too!

I like it when these sort of things happen, makes you feel like Karma does sometimes have a say in things. Hopefully either someone will rob them back, or they'll get buggered when they go to prison by someone much bigger than them...

And for those of you without ESP, while fleeing from the owner on another quad, he stacked it and got nabbed by a bunch of Dutch special forces who happened to be in the area, presumably looking for someone to trade their uniforms for drugs with or to fail to defend in any meaningful way :supafrisk:
