A couple of coffin dodgers up the road from me have a gorgeous Bleu Samarkan HDi 110 on an X, GLX trim I think. They may be blue rinsers, but it's a beautiful car.

I guess it appeals to those of all ages of a general common sense disposition - cheap, tough, easy to fix, practical, and a little nicer than the anonymity of a Mundano, the plastic of a Vectra, or the fugliness of a Laguna.

Im 24. Had mine for just over a year. Comfort, high spec, and all this for under £1000. My friend has a top of the range BMW, and not even his car has some of the extras mine has... I love it.

I'm 25. I've wanted a 406 ever since seeing Taxi.

Yes, I know, sad. But i've never smiled so much whilst driving a car as I have whilst driving the 406.

I got mine when I was 23 and even though i've spend a fair amount on it, it's done me well and got me everywhere I've asked it to.

Grandads car or not. You'll not find many other cars you can buy for £800 that looks and runs perfectly not to mention that costs virtually nothing to run.

My last trip. 680 miles on 3/4 of a tank. I'd buy one just for that alone.

I'm 25 this year!

The wife is 23 years old this year.

I have a 406 Saloon, my first ever Peugeot
The wife has the estate for a 16 month old white German Shepherd bitch. It's not the best estate for boot space due to its curvy nature but its good enough.

We both swore blind we'd never own anything French  - But the Estate car sold the 406 for me and 4 months down line I sold my Volvo 850 T5 and bought the 406 Rapier.

Then again, everyone gives me sh*t for driving a "Classical Music Car" - e.g a car which old people drive..,.

I've had the 406 since I was 17 - Bought in April 2006 so coming up to 4 years of ownership now - Woooohoooooo!

Oh and new numberplates too ; )

i'm 19...

i've learned how to drive on 406 break... my father is a taxi driver, and 406 is perfect for the job (not because of the film) :)
now, there's second 406 break, after totaling Laguna on a highway (turkish truck driver tried to overtake some bus, an he didn't see me :/)
(otherwise, first Pug bought in May, 2004.)

I'm 23, my 406 has been in the family for about 7 years now. I originally drove it for a few months after I passed my driving test until I could afford my own car. A few years down the line and its been handed down to me as I'm now doing long commutes to university 4 times a week, its an epic car for a long drive, just soaks up the miles in comfort :)

Back when I was 17 my mates loved the 406, they took the piss about it being a grandads car but when it came to a long distance road trip everyone wanted to go in the 406.lol.
