I was at the upholsterers today picking up a recovered seat for my TDM. Outside the shop are parked:
Bodywork immaculate (and looks original), in for repairs to the interior and vinyl roof. Not sure if it's badged as a Granada or Consul, I only got as far as the 2.0 badge on the wing...
This is a Lloyd Arabella from the early 60s (according to Wiki), I was thinking Vauxhall when I first saw it from a distance, then I saw the Lloyd badge - Welsh? Nah,it's another Kraut
There's predicted to be a massive demand for old chod like this in the next few years, it's already happening and it's because all new cars are sh1t. Drivers miss the feel, smell, vibration and 'connectiveness' of old cars.
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

They were sold in limited numbers here - not very popular, as they were very very very expensive due to import duties back in the early 90's. Always had a hankering for a Vitesse fastback!
My Boss had a Granada 2.9i Ghia-X on a J plate I remember the interior was very luxurious. My mate had an 827SLi with the Honda V6 which would quietly waft you along at ridiculous speed
