What they've done there is totally stiffed you. Don't even give them the time of day anymore. Time to go insurance hunting again

Insurance really is starting to take the p**s these days. Apparently there was a bit of a government inquisition not so long ago where the insurance companies said that it wasn't a profitable business, to which the inquisitor replied "Why are there so many of you cropping up then?"
On top of this, I'm now getting 10 phone calls a week from injury lawyers asking me about some accident I had 2 years ago - last time an insurance company got involved in my car was when some tosser scraped the bumper on my old Mk2 Mondeo TD Estate while I was parked outside a garage. Obviously got sold my details by the insurance company involved - they have to do this to scrape a living as insurance isn't a profitable business you know.
Hopefully I've now found the answer to stop them irritating me. Had one phone yesterday & I told them I slipped on the wet floor in their reception area & that I've been off work for the past 6 months with a bad back. Wonder if they'll call back...

I've had a spate of these after some silly moo drove into the back of me last November. Essentially they are offering to pay me to lie my saying that I have been injured.
