Bare in mind I only have 6 months left on this policy, you can garuntee when I go to renew it will make these figures double.
I think a Rapier 90 is going to be best. I can add the 110 IC, Decat it and get it remapped for ~130bhp and improved economy.
I can also pay to get the interior retrimmed in leather and add cruise control.
It'l have to do :)
the d9s are all on a simalar insurance group older d9s are group 12, Estate is coming up as Group 11.
d8s are as low as Group 9.
petrol ones in both d9 and d8 are even lower,

how ever told you exec -lx differs is pulling your leg mate there all banded the same check it out on Autotrader Click on Vehicle summary ,

It won't be - I found this out the hard way when I bought the SRi interior to swap my electric front seats for manual ones.

These are the SRi ones with blue cloth:

& these are my SE ones with grey:

The SRi ones also have blue stitching on the edges of the seats, headrests & door cards as opposed to the grey on my ones.

Colour dosen't bother me too much, I'l get them retrimmed anyway :)
Might even go for a red fabric with some sort of pattern on it?
Not sure, but I do like the Black/Dark Red combo and would give it a very 'sporty' feel I think :)

My renewal has just arrived from Mr A Flux, £609

Paid £360 last year

I used to insure this car 9 years ago when it was less than a year old and worth £15K for less than £300, insurance prices are a f*cking joke

Never mind, better hit the online quotes hard this weekend, just done a couple and I'm already below £400 so my target is going to be £350, wish me luck

Reckon £350 might be a bit too ambitious considering it was £360 last year. Don't know of anybody at the mo who has managed to pay less for their insurance than the previous year. Apart from maybe people that have turned 25 or picked up another years NCB.

Right guys...

I know I really want a 406 but right now I'm looking at this sort of thing...

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

The insurance is only £20 extra than my Focus, I got the HDi 110 with the interwarmer.
Half leather and climate control, I'l more than assume it having a trip computer.
And can't help feeling it will be a tad better on fuel than a 406 aswell?

Thoughts?

Only you can make that choice Sam - you said you like the 406 because it's big and comfy and familiar; the 307 will only really be one of those three (comfy, looking at those seats).

It's a really nice looking motor. Go test drive it and see what you think.

I really do like those wheels though; I reckon the 17in Challengers would suit the 406 Coupe very well...
