Some employers have tried this and have been denied on the grounds that they could gain information on a persons race, orientation etc. from it.

Deny them this, or rightly claim to not have one.

an old one, but a good example on how they use failbook,

Do you have a partner that works? my wife does and i been told that because of that i'll only get my benefits back for a year even if i win?

My wife is my carer, I could not function if I was left on my own through the day, so she doesn't work as such but she says looking after me is a full time job,
Silly really because when I was on Incapacity if she claimed carers allowance they took the same amount off me, since transfering me to ESA she can claim carers and it makes no difference to my benefit, so we are better off, strange but true.

I'm fooking tamping, this could be a good read guys because i'm gonna say things none of you know.

Went to see my doc today for a note and to discuss a few things so i'll put it the way it went down.
First of all she was quite chuffed how much my blood preasure has come down since she changed my meds, then she asked what i thought about the medical report she had done for me at a cost of 20 notes.

I said i have a problem with that actually can you tell me how far back my medical records go? she said 1973 the year you were born, ah right so have you got anything from 1984? yes you had 4 grapefruit size sists removed from your liver at the heath hospital Cardiff.

Well in my report from atos and the dwp it says "mr James CLAIMS to have had sists removed but there no medical evidence to prove this"

So on her medical report it starts by saying "mr James suffers from alcohol related liver disease" ... Well in 1997 i blacked out while vomiting loads of blood i had whats called an asofogeal(sp) tear which is a side affect of the operation and looks to a doctor like it's alcohol related (not the case)

So since then prince charles hospital have put it down to binge drinking.... I cant remember doing it but i obviously was a pisshead when i was 12  the hospital obviously didn't have access to this report from Cardiff hospital but they will at my next appiontment because i'm getting copies of said report tomorrow free of charge.

Sorry for being so long winded  she finished by saying in my opinion after finding that out you will never be fit to work again but the dwp dont care about my opinion i'm affraid.

I managed to go through mine before I came out here. Apparently I was exposed to asbestos as the result of an industrial accident. When I was 12 oddly enough. There was also a record of me having "toilet phobia" (huh?) because I refused to use the karzi at school. Once. I was 6.

What does it cost?

Most requests are free. You might be asked to pay a small amount for photocopies or postage.

If the public authority thinks that it will cost them more than £450 (or £600 for central government) to find the information and prepare it for release, then they can turn down your request. They might ask you to narrow down your request by being more specific in the information you're looking for.

Much more stress and i'll be a fully fledged alcoholic mate  what really pisses me off is my problems started as a kid then when i was 24 the problems started again but just because i told them i used to go out for a few pints on the weekend they automatically label you as a drunk.

After that my gp said thats utter bollocks it's from when you were a kid but the hospitals dont seem to want none of it
I do drink a few cans a day now but thats only because i been told by the hospital that if i stop i run the risk of having another seizure that they put down to drink.

When really it was from not sleeping for months on end and hardly eating because of this f*cking pending tribunal.

Listen to this, my tribunal was set for Monday at 9.30am in Newport which they say is the closest place to me now Dai will back me up on this 9.30am getting to Newport when you have two children would be a nightmare it's 28 miles each way and with my toilet problems i'd have to leave at 6am... Anyone tried getting a 14 year old girl out of the house that time of day?

Well at my request the judge postponed it so it can be heard in Merthyr.... Oh hang on thats 4 miles ish from here  ...see the differance?

I'm waiting for the dreaded brown envelope with the date every morning i wanna f*cking scream.

I think if my doc had more time she would have copied the whole lot for me for free but she's doing the one i need in her own lunch time, she's lovely fair play but she's leaving the practice in two weeks  ... I'm going to be sneaky tomorrow and ask the receptionist what practice she's going to i hope it's local.

Almost 3 months since the last post and today i got my date 20th november.

my cousin lost his appeal on Tuesday and i spoke to him at length about it yesterday he's been told by the cab solicitor to re apply for esa but also that his chances of getting awarded it are slim and could take 8 weeks with no money so he's thinking of claiming jsa.

Doing that of course he's declaring himself fit for work but it's his only chance of income to feed his family... we are tightly bound by the testicles by these fuckers that run this shithouse country.
