I have some fairly good news myself: D8 has a new cam belt, no more paraniod driving for me! Cam & aux belts, idler, tensioner, water pump, aunty freeze, 8 hours labour = 230 smackeroos. The waterpump was mint but the teeth on the belt were just starting to crack at their bases. Also, the pump timing was out 
Seems the guy who changed it last didn't use the right (or indeed any) tools 
This would be the same guy that put the wrong oil in the gearbox He also changed the clutch

My other half's suddenly decided to diet, I'm not sure this is a wise move as she's got a cold and the weather's heading in to winter proper now. I suggested she got more exercise instead but she doesn't seem interested, I hate it when she reads my mind...
