There's no bird poo on the sills, every time I was the car I open the doors up and wash the door shuts too. :idea:

I think I know where the water came from, I put it there: every time I wash cars I open up the doors and wash inside the door shuts. If the doors are shut those seals are held tight against the sill and no water should get past the clips, but if they're not held tight to the sill by the clips, like mine, with the door open there's a tiny gap for water to go behind them.

The white stuff is the same stuff that's in my kettle.

I'm still not sure but first job when the weather warms up is to take the sealing strips off the D9 and put them back with silicon sealant. Then waxoyl the sills.

Is it just me or would anyone else like to be shrunk down to about 2 inches in height and sent inside those box sections for a look around 8) :mrgreen:

Funnily enough, I want one of these but they don't mail outside the UK :(

I recommend it. Back in the air, wheels off, liners off, plugs out and have a peer inside with a small powerful torch. I'd be surprised if my D8 was the only 406 like this.
