I hope not
Hoping to be driving a 406 by June next year :) Maybe earlier
Not being funny mate,

honest opinion here, if your set on changing to adifernt car, now is the time, Car prices at there peak,
best time to trade in or sell,

give it a few month and prices will fall,

was looking for acheap car for my son, just a cheapo, a car thats worth £100 is fetching £6 -£700 its bizzare how much prices have gone up.

seen a vauxhall nova with a price in the screen at first ithought it said £330 but it wasnt £3300 for a Nova

take advantage of the car price hike whilst you can
Can't, I'm going to have to P/X my car regardless. I can't afford to insure two cars, and if I take the tax off the Focus it's worth Naff all cause nobody can test drive it.
Plus I'm hoping wen I renew in November my insurance will up my BHP limit so I can get a 2.2 HDi.
And I need a car for every day, if I sell my Focus now then I cannot get to work

Novas in original spec, not boyracered, can go for silly money as they are now classic.

It is difficult to get a properly cheap car now as you can get a few hundred quid scrap for a non runner!

I was a bit worried about that aspect of the car, so i still take the bicycle out now and then but on a shitty windy wet day the 406 is a bit more tempting.

lozz wrote:just found out what the padlock thingy is,

so far it seems its got a speed limiter, set it to 30 and it wont go over that speed,
iwill have to work out how to set all this, if thats the case, :|
I've got one of them in my lorry

If you don't want to go over a certain speed, then achieve that speed, press the button, and it won't exceed that speed
Press the button again, and it goes off
Useful if you're driving round town and don't want to be had by the speed cameras

Ipicked up the piccaso today, at first with gritted teeth,

the first 20 mins of driving it the car just came across as weird, its a very Ghay looking car when you first get in one, there abit Multi-pla, renault spazzy looking,
but its smooth and it feels like your sat at a piano driving it, a bit of a Green house,

the tank was empty and i thrown a tenner in it at texaco, it came up with 99miles to next fuel up on dash,

been driving it about all night this thing is very cheap to run, but idont think it will do 99miles on a tenner, (Iwish)

Sat at a piano, thats a beautifully elegant way of describing it, ive never heard of that before, but it does make sense their dashboard has a piano feeling.
What sort of engine does the new car have?
