Many a time i've wanted to take my anger out on a car and i've done it twice, first time i kicked a wing on an old escrote of mine then i punched the air vent in on my Xsara... I've learned to mellow while around cars since it's to expensive.

When i was 17 i was putting a new cold air feed on my Fiesta and was really struggling with the last clip which was under the battery tray. Eventually it clipped in trapping for finger so i stood back and gave the wing a good kicking thinking that will teach you

One time years ago when I was still working for f*ck-all money in a BT/Manpower call-centre, I was home from work after an absolutely sh*t day, rain-soaked, freezing cold, really pissed off, and absolutely starving.

Cooked a pizza in the oven. Put the oven gloves on, opened the oven door, grabbed the pizza tray, lifted it out, and felt an absolutely searing heat in my fingers. I dropped the tray and the pizza landed cheese-side down on the carpet.

A short second later I had put a fair-sized hole in the flimsy council-house plasterboard wall.

Pizza went in the bin as it was ruined. The lip of the square oven tray had burnt its outline in the now rather cheesy carpet. And there was a hole in the hollow wall. And I was still fecking starving. Cleaned up the mess on the floor as best I could, then I had a couple of bags of crisps for dinner, and went to bed before any other sh*t happened.

That hole in the wall remained there until just before I moved out - got one of my Dad's mates to patch it up as best he could so the council didn't go mental.

I've never attacked any of my cars, expensive things......

Although.....wrapping Christmas presents on x-mas eve at about midnight after falling out with her-indoors (typical xmas cheer) and somehow a pair of scissors left my grasp ~ went across the room ~ and stuck in the Lounge door

I also threw a child's micro-scooter over the garage's pitched roof......smashing a roof tile, causing a leak

Slammed my fist down hard on the stainless steel draining board of the kitchen sink, denting it.....had to remove the dishwasher to pull the dent out.....causing a leak.....

My last VHS video player left this world with a fist-shaped dent in its top casing too :supafrisk:

Excellent!

Bit of a pattern here guys.

But I note that almost all these tales of temper tantrums are in the past tense and in the majority of cases, those of us who now enjoy the cosseted 406 lifestyle are suitably chilled. 8)

I remain concerned for those among us driving more frustration-inducing machinery.

To those gentlemen I say, 'there's still time to repent and return to the 406 fold'. :cheesy:

Try a price comparison site, this is a good one. http://www.topcashback.co.uk/search/mer ... down+cover

You'll have to sign up but if you go through there you should get a good deal plus cashback, we've had cashback off there by ordering off ebay, tesco and loads of other sites.

If you fancy it let my mrs reccomend you first. :supafrisk:

When i put that link there i didn't realise so far this year the mrs has had £48 cash back into paypal and in a week or two she'll have another £30 for taking out home insurance, she's even had money for ordering free sim cards online.

If you go for it let her reccomend you she'll get a tenner just for that  i think it use to be £3.
