That's where it had been welded. I couldn't decide on schutz or repaint, so it was left bare. I will probably drill some holes on the underside to put a rust convertor and waterproofer through.
To top all this crap, the dmf is dying. I will be getting a solid flywheel conversion like the Valeo. I have paid well over the odds on this methinks.
