What is ASR James ?. Would it be similar to an Electronic Stability/ABS mix ?.

alarm was a dealer fit option, available on any trim level
as for ASR its Anti-Skid Regulation, basically its just traction control, if one of the wheel speed sensors detects one of the front wheels is is accelerating faster than the other it applies the brakes to that wheel in modulation, if the acceleration continues to occur or both wheels accelerate faster than the rear wheels then the igntion spark is cut untill all the wheels accelerate evenly, this all happens in the blink of an eye if not faster, if you had electronic suspension you would get ESP or Electronic Stability Program, basically the same thing, it just fine tunes the shock absorbers and brakes adjusting the attitude of the car to prevent understeer/oversteer or spinning

You should have a rear sun blind, mines an estate and it has a rear sun blind that pulls up out of the tailgate trim.
