they are mushroom houses yup, 12 of them on that yard.
they have a very smooth concrete floor but are essentially big greenhouses, although you have a layer or polythene on the inside, then glass wool, then another layer of green polythene on the outside.
they are about 80ft long.

the last 3 were slightly longer and i remember they were about £15k
then you add the dehumidifiers, coolers, heaters, steamers, sensors the computer control, the lights, the doors and the shelving.

ill get you a picture of the inside of a mushroom house, i know i dont have one as i spent all last year working inside one listening to lithuanian music i didnt exactly want a photo to remind me anymore of it. but they are really simple to put up the metalwork, although with all buildings the foundations etc needs to be perfect. Im not sure how planning permission works.

i got a vitara yestrday off gumtree. i didnt do any haggling £180 and that was that.
Its already been stripped at a bit so there is no seats, or back diff, prop shaft, whisbone (so it wobbles from left to right) radiator and i had to put on my old samurai wheels. but the engine from looking at it is much cleaner than my last one, anyhow here is the jeep:
Image
Image
typical gumtree extra there.
as for rust its the most solid vitara ive had yet but them nice wheel arch protectors on it seemed to do only one thing:
Image
Image
Image
its all rust behind them, im now suspicious of them old mercs whith crome wheelarch covers they are probably for hiding rust also.
thats inside, and the door is buckled because i lifted it off with the forklift:
Image
here is the engine, no keys come with the vitara so i havent actually heard it going, just given assurance its running very well:
Image
compared to the samurai them intrusive suspension towers mean bad access, and its not as easy to work under the vitara as a samurai. And the bolts on this seem to be very tight especially the starter one. But now all the bolts are out, the cables and pipes are out i need to hoist the engine out. Then whip on the 1.3 flywheel and clutch, degrease the outside of the engine and find a bolt for something, then it should plonk into the sammy quickly.

No keys but it runs fine? How do they know? I'd be running too... If I were you I'd get it running first, rather than waste a lot of time & effort on an unknown.

taking it out i was very careful and now its sitting on a stand on the pallet so it doesnt fall over, its going in today, if i get it in physically it should only take an hour to reconnect the wires and hoses.

Once again;
ITS ALIVE

a few hours putting in the altenator, radiator, starter, coil, new plugs, dizzy cap, and wiring it all together and i pressed the new starter button and was rewarded with the sound of; dzzzst, dzzzst, duhhhhhhh tttttttt.
The starter was banjacksed probably why i couldnt hotwire when it was in the black jeep, so i swapped it over and it started on first push of the button.
I thought the clutch was broke but the cable is set wrong, i have the gearbox oil but havent put it in yet as it hasnt moved, the flywheel cover needs to go on, and my seat needs bolted in then it should be ready for a spin.

but it sounds great, not like a diesel no knocks or scrapes or bangs, just like an old carburetted petrol and it smells like one in the shed. I have a video ill put it up soon
