doggy again - yeah usually some nice stuff at billing

been quite a few years since i went, but last time the stars and stripes thundersaloon manta was there with it's 600 odd bhp V8
a few other rover v8 manta's
and a number of 12v and 24v straight six manta's

one had a t bar roof, dash from an astra 16v, mantzel bodykit and the dual ram 3.0l 24v - think it was dutch - there certainly was a big contigency from their ALL with very nice cars

Saw not one or two but three Saab 9000s today. What has the world come to? :shock: Great big cars them. Two were in immaculate condition and driven by elderly ladies, the third one had definitely seen better days.

Isnt tere a M Maestro Turbo tat is one of te fastest road cars in te country?

today i seen an old looking saab 900 in a horrible beige colour. was in the rear view so couldn't see its reg/age, but when i took the missus work, there was an old "N" reg cortina driving into the carpark, with a bigbore exhaust, black alloys and a bright green paint job :shock: what year is an old N reg.. older than me thats for sure :cheesy:

Saw a Peugeot 404 ute today on my travels - would of been around 40+ years old!

Also had a BX TRI park down from me at the shops the other day - They are a rare sight on the roads!

Been to Felixstowe today ( car ran sweet for the 300 mile trip )

On me travels saw a hillman Imp
and not just a Marina, but a Marina Estate !


(wish id of thought about previously, as would of contacted doggy reference PP2000)

We had an light blue Commer Imp that my dad converted to an estate for many years when I was a kid - LUF 702F (I think it's long since been scrapped)

Just shows how bad British Leyland cars were - if any other car hit a moth head on, the moth would have come off worst...
