the c6 bodywork is very special, fixing it wouldnt be done by any person with a tub of isopon and an inability to write a gumtree ad. £250 seems too cheap.
In gumtree land, minor dent = write off as the result of a collision between 2 HGVs and the driver had to be cut free from the vehicle.

only on gumtree land would they try and put saxo doors on a c6.
my friend has a saxo with a rusty bonnet a few holes in it, i said are you going to get that changed. He said no a bit of isopon will do it.
Is Isopon any use?
I have some isopon in the car-stuff box.
Bought it years ago in the Orion era in a thought of patching up the already-isoponned rear arches to perhaps get it through another MOT.
Ended up getting scrapped before I even opened the tub.
In the 406 era, gave it another thought to patch up the rusty doors, but put it away again as no paint would match anyway.
Would imagine it would be better for matt-coloured Orions and vans anyway, rather than metallic 406s and C6s.

isopon works i was given the task of selling my uncles smiley transit and i did a lot of isoponing especially on the front wings its ok on a slab sided van for sanding the isopon to suit.
i had it on gumtree with good bodywork a few dents recently repaired but really the wheelarches were just isopon

Usually in gumtree talk, ispon wheelarches are "mint / pristine" territory.
With better rustproofing (apart from a certain D9...), the only time you see 'ponned and primered spots on cars now are unfinished badly modified Corsas.

i seen a very ponned merc a few weeks back it wasnt due to rust this car had been in a serious accident, it really should have been wrote off but every panel had some isopon filling it, and it hadnt been painted so you could see every bit.
ill have to use it when i tackle the rust on my suzuki if i ever do it.
The merc looks like a big olde bag of bolts, them w210 e classes were just rustbuckets, the 300d is a slow old engine but nice and refined (136 bhp is all autotrader shows up about performance), and suits the wafty nature of the car. But the w124 was the better car better built and better looking. What was the quad headlights about? it looks retro, not nice.
Them citroens are lovely, the activa one looks fantastic, whack an lpg kit and get the wee issues sorted and it would be an acceptable car.
The turbo d i would have bought that 2 years ago, and its so clean.
Its good to see some straight clean cars coming from NI, not all ruined 306s.
awww dont say that, i really like the cx. Although i prefer the series 2 prestige models (they had a longer wheelbase and soft leather seats)
it would be in the top 10 garage if i had to have one.
No mate,
ihated them,
itook one to the scales once it was in mint condition some old lady had it on her driveway and asked me to dispose of it and if idid icouid have the Rover p6 she had in the garage too,
They where throw away cars years ago no one wanted them,. they were more into stuff like Datsun 100a s then and cherrys etc,
oh and Austin Agros,
im a big fan of french cars thats why i like them but i prefer the series 2 it looked much sharper, and better made.
the p6 i like it aswell, and the sd1 even though i hear they are built awfully. Its not so bad these days we have superglue.
but heres a really nice and well made mercedes benz: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mercedes-Benz-S12 ... 908wt_1141
