as for diesel power i would get one of the last volvo S60 D5 180Ps, and get it remapped to well over 200BHP

for diesel power I would without a doubt go for Alfa 159 2,4Jtdm (200hp) and remap that to godknowswhere. Just cos I like to live dangerously. Imagine, if you can, -30C and a cold start with Alfa...

What was the question again? Oh, what do I hate about the 406? The most annoying thing just popped into my mind. And this one is above anything else at least in my books: the idiotic alarm sound when you leave the keys in the ignition and happen to open the door....

I'd not thought about that beep but it is a bit annoying, especially when you stop that beep and get a new beep for the 'lights on' warning

Another little gripe is when you unlock the car and the interior lights come on, and then go off again I would have liked them to stay on until you put the ignition on.

As a D8 owner, I don't get a 'door open' beep

Just the *bloody useful* 'door open with lights on and ignition off' beep... I swear without it I'd end up making a habit of parking on top of a hill facing downhill
