Sorry to hear this Supa.

Make sure you give your insurance Co. as much info as possible, usually over the phone now.

The PC No. of the Officer and his station is normally all you need and again the Insurance Co. MAY contact him if needed.

Normally if they need any info then they will ask for it, the claims procedure has been simplified recently.

And......GO TO THE DOCTORS, it may become an important part of your claim and make sure you tell insurance that you have been and what is wrong with you.

All the best.

Welton.

Subscribes to thread and goes for popcorn

Sorry to hear about your bump

If you've bruised your chest and are having breathing difficulties then definitely get yourself down the hospital for a check up, better safe than sorry.

Use what the copper said in your statement to the insurance company too, especially if you have a name and badge number to throw into the mix. If you havent then pop down the cop shop and ask to speak to the officers who dealt with the incident.

Supafrisk, never ever worry about all the bullsh!t that another driver comes out with when in a crash, it's just a smokescreen cos he knows he was in the wrong and is trying to scare you. besides, let him try and make a claim against you - I take it you get legal cover with your insurance? That's what it's there for.

Only thing that matters is what your insurance company say, as it's them who will fight your corner in the event of any claim, and as they say it's his fault you have nothing to worry about.

Gutted about Supataxi though, he lived a long and full life!!!

if you're driving round my area, I'll give you a nudge with a cattleprod to wake you up in the Vectra!!!
