thats the main against pointer for electric windows they dont work when there is no power to them, i had a problem with the clio which was that it locked itself with the keys in it every time, living in the countryside i generally leave the keys in the car but renault didnt like that and locked the car all the time with them in it, so i always had to use the spare key to open the door which always set the alarm off

I was in Belgium in my Honda and it had a "feature" to lock itself randomly if there was noone inside. I parked, closed the doors, keys with me, opened the boot to get my bag and threw the keys into the bag. As soon as I closed the boot, the whole car locked. My heart stopped.... I thought I may have put the keys into the boot rather than the bag (which I had with me now), but thankfully after a frantic search of the bag revealed that I had the keys in there... Phew!

Not sure what I would have done if the keys were in the boot with no way to get in there and I was stuck in another country. :frown:
