i had forgotten about the onscreen keyboard cheers exec. bit of an arse to use but better than nowt i spose, so all i need 2 do now is remember to get the new one out of the disco in the morning in time for my f1 messenger abuse of my like minded friends

Alternativley there is speech recgonition software.
None of this stuff i can find on this mac everything is a different name or works different

Excuse me resurrecting this old topic but I just washed my keyboard in the sink 'cos I couldn't write two words without making a typo, I wasn't sure if it was my typing abilities going down the pan or the keyboard but, once I had it in bits, I realised it was full of toast crumbs and coffee drips. After drying it, it still felt a bit clunky so I then sprayed the back end of the keys with furniture polish. Now it's fine, and I've written this without having to make corrections (apart from "resurrecting" which I spent with one R the first time )

Looks like it was my brain going wrong after all It's weird, I keep doing things like that, I know what I'm trying to say but my fingers type the wrong words and the spell checker I've got running doesn't pick them up because they're spelled right.

Maybe the speed of my typing is exceeding the speed of my brain

Check back for typos, ok, and....submit
