Obn tuesday i'm off on me hols. A few days fiddling with the pug and drinking some beer, followed by a week in north Italy thrashing someone elses mountain bike (i'm in to MTB'ing almost as much as 406s), followed by a week at home where I plan to install and perfect my 406 water injection installation.
The only bad thin is that i've not yet got internet at home (or even bothered to get a landline phone yet!), so i'm gonna miss you dudes
holiday on the horizon...huzzah!

Hope you enjoy the break there Turbo.
Would like to hear about your HDi and the effects of the filter etc, I think you chipped yours? what is supposed to be the BHP?
Anyway you little scampster, if you don;t have a Computer at home then you must be going on here from 'work' aren't you supposed to be filling out loads of reports?

I'm running a tuning box with my filter, modified MAF, DIY decat and blanked off EGR. Being sensible, i'd claim in the region of 115-120ish BHP. The filter sounds like my engine was made by Pratt & Whitney, not Peugeot! Awesome!
Foxy, i'll be running standard boost as the KKK on my '90 is renowned for being fragile if fiddled with. I'll initially be relying on the intercooler effect, but i'll also try a low percentage of methanol (5-10%) for the chemical cooling effect. I'm hoping for another 10 or so brake from my 0.4 mm misting nozzle, and a bit more with experimentation. The gains on a sparker turbo would be greater if the ECU is of the type that would advance the ignition to compensate, but for what its costing i'll be happy with a dozen more ponies.
To save cash i've been collecting my own parts. Pump from an Escort Cossie, courtesy of Ebay, misting nozzle from http://www.turbobits.co.uk/acatalog/erl ... ozzle.html, adjustable pressure switch from Maplins. All the pipework and leccy connectors will be standard Halfrauds fare. I'll coil the feed pipe around the aircon pipes to make it extra chilly before delivery!
And I am, er, writing lots of reports. honest!

Cant see you gaining anything really from just water injection, unless Im mistaken it just cools the charge temperature down after detonation so its really irrelevant. Although great for high boost..... Im not sure to be honest haha
Maybe I need to read up some more?
A Front mounted intercooler would be the thing, even though the turbo is tiny its good for 150+ bhp.
