My New JOb....... it aint all that ! !

How pissed off am I ! !

So we started last Monday and so far its been quite laid back not much on just two Pilots of the product / services, so theres me and this new older guy, he's in his 40's and last week I saw the internal advert for a new position that had been created, Field Operations Manager position.

So I show my interest and speak to the two people I need to, my boss and his boss... all seems well so for this week I've been out on site with my american colleague doing the job that he does in preperation of taking over his role when he goes back to the states next week. I'm out there with our installers resolving issues sorting out consignments and basically taking care of business.

So today we're at the office and as there was no appointment to be on site, I was expecting to sit with the american and go through the other two thirds of the role and learn more about it.... but no as it turns out I was asked to go back to my support role, and get on withsome other work that I'd had nothing to do with in the first place, I was asked to take over from the other new guy as he had more important things to do.... yeah right the fat %$&? just sat there all day on his ass doing bugger all.

He is known as the fiddler because he has to touch stuff and mess stuff up.

So then this afternoon, well about 20 minutes ago me and my american colleague are talking about the situation, as it turns out this lump of lard thats also on support has applied for the same position, after telling me to go for it and pushing me forward into it because of my previous experience.... so now I've been told that I'm just going back to my role and this other guy is going to be working with the american learning the role, yet I've not even covered half the stuff with him.... Its a joke and I'm so wound up right know... if this other guy was around he'd be eating his teeth ! ! !

I think its time to look for a new job !

We all know what it's like to work with an idiot who says one thing and does another, so I empathise mate.

I'm also in the process of finding a new job. I hate my current job so much that I cannot motivate myself to do anything, although I am trying. (Imagine getting up at 5am to do a job you hate!) I had an interview for a vastly higher-paid job on Tuesday and I should be hearing back within a week. God, get me out of here!!

While I don't hate my job as such, it's full of idiots who create unecessary problems for me. As such my work load is up to my ears, with only me being able to deal with most of the problems (simply cos noone else has been trained for what I do). When I went Russia, I trained my colleague to do day to day routines. And when I come back, what happened? It's all been f**ked up beyond all recognition! And I am the one getting it in the neck! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

So, Niz.... it seems it's like that everywhere. But I am trying to get an MCSE qualification...the only problem is that for that same money I can buy a 406 Coupe HDI. Choices, choices... time to get a couple of self learning courses and just take the exams....
