Hi,
I own a 1988 Peugeot 406 (1800 petrol) salon. My wiper suddenly stopped working. Everything else is working fine. Someone suggested I should check the fuse. Problem is, I don't know where the fuse box is located and even if I find it I don't think I'd be able to figure out which fuse is for what circuit i.e. radio, lights, wipers etc. All garages are now shut and I have to drive to work. All advise will be welcome. Many thanks,
Tony

Re: Wiper broken?
1988 someone beat the waiting list for a 406 there. Only joking i assume you mean 1998 or else your on about a 405. But anyhow the fusebox is under the steering wheel, you will see 3 plastic screwheads there, with a coin 1 or 5p twist them 90 degrees to loosen the screws and the panel falls down, check them all to see if theyre blown, failing that theres a fuse box above the battery by above i mean closer to the bulkhead check the fuses in that also. If all the fuses are ok then someone else will know whats up.
