window washers

Post by stevenjp90 »

Hi,

Well after all this snow and freezing conditions, my window washer for the front has broken, I do know what is up with it though,
It seems a cap has popped of under the bonnet, meaning the water is spraying out of this, instead of the jets above the bonnet, I had applied presure to the opening with my finger, and it works how it should
as shown here.

I need to know what it's called (part desciption/no.) if there is a technical name for this 'window washer joint cap'. Also where I can get one of these from, I may have to take a trip up to the local scrappy for this.

Thanks
Steve

That is known as a "Y" fitting, one way valve.
As Steve says you should be able to get one from a factors.
