Don't forget a handful of change for parking, £5 a day at our one :frown:

If you hospital is like ours, then if you think you are going to be there a few days, then get a week's permit

That's kind of my experience of parking in UK hostables - they don't care why you're there or what's happened, you are cash in their dirty thieving mitts :evil:

A daughter is what I was always looking forward having two boys, so keeping fingers crossed the third one on board will be a daughter..

Ours is:
£2.00 for up to 4 hours
£4.00 for up to 8 hours
£6.00 for up to 24 hours.

Got £16 in coinage in the car (allowing for 2 swallowings by the machine :evil:). See I'm taking every precaution I can think of :shock:

Soon as I get it (the travel system's a gift, but coming Soon!!!) the seat+base is going straight in the car!

Check out if the hospital car park do a discount system.

At my local hospital if you have to park a few days in a row and keep your tickets, you go to the parking ticket office inside, produce your tickets and get some free parking.

My dad is a paramedic, so he always parks in the ambulance station of the nearby hospital.
