Outlook 2007.
You can download Windows Live Mail which is the replacement for Outlook Express, it'll import your old data as well :)

The blackberry, or if i want to see it on a big screen Mail for Mac, which is just like outlook only designed by mac. Back when i had xp i used outlook as i didnt like outlook express. I dont like getting emails online, theres just something nicer about having them dealt through an email program, no ackward login, and a bit of noise to let you know you have got something. Im not even going to discuss wheather Mail or outlook express is better, theres nothing in it, both did their jobs perfectly.

I have a Yahoo! Mail account, which I can access via my Outlook 2007 client on my home PC, via the web on any PC anywhere in the world, or via my HTC Desire smartphone.

Hint for Android users - don't use Yahoo!'s official mail app, cos it doesn't bloody work.

Desktops are much easier (and cheaper) to upgrade.

Also, due to parts commonality, if I upgrade my PC, I can use the bits I take out of it to upgrade my stepson's PC. I can then take the bits I take out of his PC and use them to upgrade the PC I use as a media/backup server. Three upgrades for the price of one!

The Wifely Person uses a laptop, when she's not using her iPad.

I have too many computers, don't I...

tis the same as in my house, my da has a laptop, i have one, my sis has one, my mum cant operate a computer, my grandparents are attempting to do it on my old dell which is amusing to watch, and theres an old computer in the utility room with xp on it, the only desktop and a damm good old thing even though theres a massive 256mb of ram. But its hard to beat the portability and neatness of a laptop.

I've got a Google Apps account. Instead of a Gmail/Googlemail email address, I can use my own domain.

It's free, works amazingly and integrates with my android phone like a beaut.

It's so good we ended up setting out company email up on it.

At home I just use the web interface. It's good enough, on the move, I use the gmail app that's on my android and then at work, I use outlook.

It's 6 and 2 3's lol Android is better if you have an gmail account as when you add a contact, calendar etc it syncs with your phone and vice versa.

Great if you clear the phone as it automatically pulls down the contacts you've previously put on
