This month - I'll be spending:

- £350+ on the cambelt/water pump change on the Coupe
- £50 (inc. delivery) for a new wing for the Saloon so I can get her through her MOT
- £40-ish for the MOT on the Saloon
- £40-ish for Autoleads adapters to get my after-market stereo fitted to the Coupe

I'll also need to get the wiring checked for the cigarette lighter socket on the Coupe as it blows fuses whenever you plug anything in to it. And, the "Fuel Cap Open" alert comes up whenever you start the car, and the warning light remains on for the whole journey  No idea how much these niggles will cost to fix, but I want to get them sorted

some time this year i will spend
near £500 on a solid flywheel conversion
about £30 for a new rear wheel bearing, and ill probably decide i want to do both.
£50 on different cleaning products to keep the seats soft, the dash clean, and the carpets fresh.
and whatever else may need buying.

Sorry, I introduced 'eggsauce' as a kinda similar-sounding word to 'exhaust' - probably doesn't work that well in NI ?

Since I bought it in Jan 2010:

Mot & Full Service - £200 (needed exhaust centre for Mot)

Cambelt, water pump, aux belt & bottom pulley £450

& that's the most I've ever spent on any car that I've owned apart from the set of new alloys & tyres I fitted to my 3 yr old GLX when I had it, but they got removed & sold on when the car went.

Well, just got my eyes tested, and need new glasses (frames + lenses = £140, plus I ordered a set of prescription shades - total = £176) - so some of the above will definitely get delayed til February at least. Cambelt change for the Coupe and a new wing + MOT for the saloon are the big two - hopefully I'll be able to sell the saloon then, given it will have a year's MOT on it.
