my mate has an i-phone 3gs which was jailbroke
he restored it in settings to factory default
now the phone wont work

SO DO NOT RESTORE THE PHONES SETTINGS IF YOU HAVE 1 THATS JAILBROKE

jailbroke is what they call the phone when its had different software installed on it to get all the apps

i intend to buy an iphone, ive been saving up for one, but if more important things arent needed it will be bought sooner. Im trying to decide wheather to get a 4 or 3gs and im swayed towards the 4 for its better camera.

worst "phone" ever... reception is just crap! Battery life is crap!

i've had one of the orginal 3g phones since it was released, the screen cracked after being in my pocket with my keys.

have a look at the HTC Desire HD

the htc desire does look good, but the advantage of the iphone is you can put it in an ipod dock and enjoy its music, and itunes works much better with a mac than on a windows, where i would only use windows media player, and my trusty old creative zen.
