How to remove bulb from directional courtesy light?

Post by Coxy »

The light in question is the one you can flick left or right, or centre for off. I can pull the unit out fine but how on earth does the bulb come out of it?

pop the 2 square lips in like this

so that it slides out like this.

then do the same with the circle one in the middle. push it in so that the whole unit inside pops out like this

then carefully pull the plastic flap back . the screwdriver points to it. then you can slide the bulb out like this

and there you have your bulb out very easy to change.

Awesome thanks for that. I was convinced it had to be to do with the long thin plastic bit and perhaps mine was just stuck.
