Dangerous Cycling

About time.

I was walking the dog and some cyclist who thought he was Chris Hoy ran over her paw.

And I am sick and tired of going on nice walks, for example the Lagan Towpath, only to be moved about by ignorant cyclists doing 30mph.

They can be so up themselves with their "holier than thou" attitude, spoiling what would have been a nice romantic walk along the river.

And don't get me started on the road going variety, the red light jumpers, footpath users when it suits them, and the ones you overtake, get to a red light, they go ahead of you, then you have to try and overtake them again

Or, from the other side, my bro found out what happens if you cycle slowly: you get mugged

Ack sorry Steve :(

But this was on a sunny day on a walkway with people about and that, not really a dark night or rough area to be honest.

Cyclists must have been doing at least 20mph, just hear a ding-ding in the distance , turn around, jump to the grass then they voosh past.

I hate driving round London with both cyclists and scooter riders

I've been indicating left and they think they can come up your left hand side and go straight on whilst your trying to turn - no wonder so many of them get squished
Oh, we'll make the lorries all fit extra mirrors so they can see the cyclists better
NO
Make the feckers have a test, have insurance, and fine them for dangerous cycling

I seen loads of instances

One of the others that sticks in my mind, is I saw a car move off from a junction going straight ahead, and a cyclist come from behind it, and turns left in front of the car causing it to make an emergency stop

Cyclists they are a nuisance, all they do is slow up traffic, you always see a huge line of traffic behind the things, and they are not like tractors because groups of cyclists can change shape.
Cant they form an orderly line when they cycle and keep to the side of the road so that proper road users who pay tax can use the roads properly.

There best worn mate,
ive seen someone come off a bike and his head hit the curb low-speed,
he was in abad way,

My step son came off a bike when he was 6 and the crash helmet was cracked down the Middle it saved his life,
his mum says its the best thing iever bought him she rekons if ididnt buy him one he may not be here,

You may be safe on a bike but theres boy racers and drunk drivers out there

crash helmets look a bit Ghey but they couid save your life

Yea she had a limp in the paw for the walk home, but she soon forgot about it after doggy treats :)

Amazing how Doggy Treats can cure everything dog related LOL :)

She just has a fear of bikes now. Which is understandable.
