Hungarian Grand Prix

Post by DiscoPol »

just wondering if anyone is going, i know its a long shot but you never know.

Just looked at tickets and for F1 its relatively cheap at only £110 for a 3 day general admission pass, now seeing as its only a 10 hour drive from me i could be tempted but Im "Billy no mates" at the moment and i dont think i can persuade the wife into it, camping is cheap too, I have Polish friends i could ask but i dont want the whole weekend to feel like work :supafrisk:

as i said a long shot but you never know 8)

There's a grand picks in Hungry?

I'd go with the Poles, so long as you make it clear you're not going to talk shop it might be an opportunity to blend in and embrace the culture

Doesn't culture mean mould?

May not be too many Poles going with Kubica out of it at the mo. That's not a bad price though. Costs an absolute fortune to go to the British Grand Prix, & Hungary usually ends up being a good race. Usually throws a few surprises into the mix.

Last year was the first year since 2001 that i didnt go to a GP race and i was gutted, 2001-2009 i was a faithful follower and handed over my hard earned 2-300 quid (well bar 4 years of bribes, sorry complimentary tickets from suppliers) per ticket and enjoyed every minute of the race weekends,

Steve it cant be far from you, get yourself there and we can have an ex-pats 406 mini meet

As for going with the Poles, there are a couple who go just for the weekend away but as Waue rightly says right now F1 has lost much of its attraction in Poland due to Kubica's inability to go round corners quickly so its down to just those that want to drink too much and party away from the wife
