hehe

it must be a mod since it doesn't match the wood-effect on the glove box.

I don't mind the wood-effect on the glove box and door cards -- if only because its absence screams "poverty spec" :D

holy f~~k that looks ghastly.
its the edges that are the worst part making it all look like a big sticker. \

i prefer my aluminium effect sprayed dash, sure if i look i can find an imperfection on the painting but it looks nice anyway, and a can of halfords rover storm grey is cheaper than that sticker wood.

Wood looks well on an exec.

However, that estate (while a bargain) looks a bit tacky with the overdone wood effect.

Some cars suit wood, usually waftable cars.
Jags, Rovers, big (E class upwards) Mercs.

The Accord Coupe has wood effect on the centre console and doors. However, because it is a big American cruiser with tan leather, it kinda suits its style.
I would say though that the 99-03 european Accord saloon wouldn't suit it as much, would look better with aluminium.

wood works with cream leather in a car, eg the doorcards on mine have wood just above the leather some carbon fibre wouldnt look right.
And a lady next door drives and accord exec lovely car, cream also but more wood and its very nice.

My old merc had wood in the middle nice to look at just the laminate was cracked in places which let it down a bit, and there wasnt enough wood.
The best use of wood was that overfinch rangie on top gear.

Is that the one that was on late last night, with the replenishing drinks cabinet?

That's what you need when you're out shooting rabbit

thats the one i seen top gear in the listings and on bbc2 not on dave where they cut the good bits out and replace them with advertisments about short term loans and lawyers.
it would just be what i need when shooting, put one in my suzuki though theres more space in the back of it than a rangie. (and they could fix the rusty floor while they put it in)
