For fixing domestic computer issues

Regarding the cost of repair, I assume that this is because instead of every garage having a standard toolset, they now have to have code readers for every single manufacturer who ever sold a car in the country?

Even simple jobs are more awkward now, with special oils and service indicator resets being charged.

Avoid any mechanic? Garage I went to couldn't see anything wrong with the mounts and changed a token top one, despite the thing lurching about in 1st gear stop-start traffic.

i wouldnt say any mechanic, my mechanic is very good, an old school mechanic who doesnt know how to work a computer and therefore doesnt spend hours trying to get a computer to tell him theres nothing wrong when there is.
still an unpleasent expense having to get a car fixed.

that first flow chart is rather similar to one we had in the workshop at sennelager when i was in the reme, however it said if it cant be fixed by black nasty (gaffer tape) its mechanical and if it cant be fixed by a hammer its electrical :cheesy:
