I once saw a woman drive a D9 similar to the one I had at the time.
Tried to get my other half to drive it as she had a 206 previously, but she said it was too big.

i seen a woman once in a saloon with two booster seats in the back.

one thing about the 406 its no hairdressers car, its one of the most unhairdressery cars you can get.

Come to think of it, both of my cars previous keepers were women, so it does happen......

However, my bro's estate was up for sale cos it was too big for the guys wife, mind you he said he'd bought it from 'a lesbian couple', so who knows?

My gf doesn't mind driving it, but then she learned to drive in her father's Stilo multiwagon multijet 120hp, which is more or less the same dimensions and the same power.
She only says that the throttle and the brakes are not sensitive enough and that the clutch is too hard. And I honestly agree on those points...

But the engine is much better! It's faster, more economical, mere responsive under 1500rpm, less violent and much more silent. (the mjt is 4 years old and hardly 40k miles, the HDi is 11 and 120k miles, and has a faulty injector...)
