Anyone around nottingham area with a WORKING galletto ?

Hi all, after spending all day preparing my car for a ecu map upgrade, it appears my Galletto 1260 EOBD2 OBDII CAN ECU Flasher Remap Tool is no good :cry: 3 hours ive spent with two different laptops on two different cars and it wont read the ecu's. I was wondering if theres anyone local with a cable i could use, i will pay you :wink: the only reason i am in a rush is ive removed my DPF today and i'm a little worried about the ecu going into limp mode without the correct map installed :roll: thanks for any help in advance
To rebuild the impossible is possible by making it become a passion..... Oct 2001 406 2.2HDi 16v Executive..... A work in progress :D

Doggy lives in Corby, Northants. Don't panic too much about the limp home mode yet. I think Doggy's car took a few weeks before it threw a wobbly without the FAP & he was doing a fair few miles at the time.. Best bet is to (quickly) chase up whoever sold you the Galletto & try for a working one.

I am indeed in Corby, but IIRC, one of the coupe guys in Nottingham had one too - can't remember who now.

I've PM'd you some instructions that may help, let me know if you want to pop down sometime.
