My take on it is that when you fight off a cold the antibodies stay in you forever, if you get another cold (and the problem with the cold virus is it mutates a lot) the antibodies may or may not help you, depending how closely the new virus relates to the old one. Basically if you had something similar before it won't effect you as much as someone that's not had anything like it before. So your wife might get a cold and not be effected by it much because she had something similar as a kid, but when she passes it on to you, because you didn't catch that particular strain that she did it'll knock you for six and for this reason your wife might not believe you when you lie on the floor gasping for breath. They're like that.
You should see the garbage that's on telly![]()
Hope you soon get over you deadly diseases guys
mmm, sounds interesting, maybe you're right about that onelozz wrote:its not good is it,plod wrote:My son also suffers with Asthma

iwas in abit of a panic, luckily they just give him a stronger in-hailer the Brown one,
Hes been ok since, other than hes turned alittle Aggresive, that must be down to the steroids they have in the inhailers,
my dad notices this in his work, if he gets some old person living out in an old shack of a house, single glazed dusty dirty farm house type of thing, he says that they do not respond well to going into the clean environment of a hospital, the germs must be good for them.lozz wrote:Strangely inever had the flu as a kid.
but saying that we always had coal fires, maybe they burn off germs in the atmosphere.
ive always sufferd with colds etc after living with gas fires, central heating,, weird,
yeah a true white British person would never give you the flu, would they?lozz wrote:Man Flu?
