here she is she is '95 Discovery from Belgium, lifted, winch, mud tyres, snorkel etc etc etc.
she is an ex Rally car so has been prepared reasonable professionally, although the snorkel is a bit Heath Robinson, and is fitted with a TerraTrip rally computer, it has a 300Tdi lump in with the fueling and boost upped a bit so its a bit fruity when you stick the pedal down, she was bought as a tow vehicle come winter transport for me, I have given the C5 to the wife now for the winter.
I was going to get a towball fitted to the C5 to collect and then transport my/or soon to be my little off roader courtesy of our very own Dai, but the cost they wanted at the dealers to fit one to the C5 was frightening as was the thought of breaking the bloody thing again towing across europe and all the extra bits i would need to replace on a regular basis if i started to use the C5 as a tow car. This little beauty cost about 35% more than just the purchase and the fitment of a Citroen approved tow pack at the stealers and comes with the added benefit that I actually enjoy driving the thing too
