Parkers is just a rough guide. I find this one to be best. Glass's is what most traders use if they don't already have the CAP black book:

http://www.networkq.co.uk/buying/value-your-car/
2000/X Peugeot 406 110 HDi LX Family 93k to 2000/W BMW 530D SE Auto 84k to 2003/03 Peugeot Partner Hdi Escapade 98k to 2003/53 Vauxhall Zafira DTi Elegance 74k

That site is designed purely to calculate trade in values for Vauxhall. Not private sale prices which are a good deal higher.

Network Q:

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition: £1175
Average condition: £1015
Below average condition: £850

Parkers online (http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/prices/) say

Independent Dealer £2,275
Private Good £1,845
Private Poor £1,190
Part Exchange £1,330

For my car.

Car sales and prices are through the floor at the minute (very few buyers) so I suspect that Vauxhall site is very heavily skewed from the true glass's book price.. Anyone know a friendly dealer with a book?

While they're at it, could somebody get us Saturday night's lottery numbers too? Might have a better chance of that one.

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

The book should tell you somewhere how to adjust the valuation for the actual milage
