Reporting dodgy car dealers

Post by leestudd30 »

Are they regulated? Is there anyone I can write to, to complain about their practices?

There's always the Trading Standards Institute. They co-run an anonymous tip-off site - http://www.ripofftipoff.net/

The Direct.gov website also has a useful page telling you about your rights when dealing with the purchase of a used car.

Well in the end I wrote to the DVLA and local Trading Standards about him. May not hear anything back about it but I had to do something.
