We're all too old.

Don't even see old Betamax videos at car boot sales anymore.

If you get your chopper out these days you get arrested.

I don't ever remember M&Ms being anything other than M&Ms. But I remember the Marathon -> Snickers change, and thinking it was bloody stupid, and I also remember the Opal Fruits -> Starburst change and thinking that was even worse.

Born in 1980 here

I can remember the mobile phones when they had a battery the size of a briefcase.

In fact, I can remember before the mobile phones...

I remember my Mum and Dad having one of these:

It was relegated to the upstairs hall when they got their first Touch-Tone phone, and I don't recall what happened to it that finally caused it to disappear from the house.

That's a GPO 746.
Actually, is it a reproduction? The receiver is a funny shape, and there isn't a blanking plate where the on/off button goes, there are two extra holes after 0, the stop is the wrong shape, and the card in the centre looks funny.

Here's a real one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Post-Box-Red- ... 27bfb498b2

My parents still have one, in green. Like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1970s-GPO-BT- ... 53e9f37c5a

It's brilliant.

Well spotted - I didn't know the type, but I found that picture on Google Images search in an effort to find what my Mum's old 198x phone looked like. The site I found it on said it was a reproduction right enough.
