Post by GazBlack »

well i just thought i would share my bargain of day.
Went to the local scrappy for tyre got a brand new 1 on the rim for £25.(spare)
Then to make it even better i wanted a rear wiper motor, number plate light surround, and badge so the happy chappy said £20 for the lot i said i got £7.03 in my pocket or do you want card he went for the cash :cheesy: all fitted and working great.
so im happy and i might pop back next week for the tow bar.

Make sure you get the captive nuts out of the chassis legs for the towbar. They can be a bit of a pig to get out so you might think it's easier just the buy new ones, but sometimes the towbar manufacturer won't supply individual bits

7 quid? Next time wear a jacket with deeper pockets..... :P

Seconded with the captive nuts, they've been asked for a few times here so I reckon they're made out of purest unobtanium
