H7 exotica

Post by rwb »

A headlight bulb blew last night, so before I just pop into the parts shop on the way to work on Monday I thought I'd ask about whether any of the various exotica is any good.
For example: Any thoughts?

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Go for premium. Osram/Phillips.
I've heard nice stuff about the nightbreakers. Last more than normal stuff and give you decent lighting performance.

I had Phillips Xtreamvision or something. Wasen't as 'white' but was brighter and had a better beam scatter than the Xenons on my old mans Volvo :D

I have Osram NightBreakerPlus H7s on the Coupe, both for dipped and main beam bulbs. Very good, really noticeable improvement over standard bulbs.

I won't go the HID route until I know what VOSA have planned for the new MOT regulations. If after-market HIDs aren't outlawed, I'll get some fitted.

Osram Nightbreakers!

I've had the lot and these are the best at the moment.

(my headlamps are always on so I get through my fair share of bulbs  )

I got my last set from Amazon for about £16.00 - they used to be £30.00.
